Dining : Little India, North Haven

Another experience to remember, but for all the wrong reasons. The food was OK, but not up to  the standards of many other Indian Restaurants around Adelaide. The service, however, really lets  them down. Entrees hit the table at the same time as main  courses.  Serves were definitely on the generous side (except for Rice, surprisingly) , and the waitress was friendly enough and helpful. When it came time to pay though, they really showed how unprofessional they are.  As usual, we just divide the bill into equal portions and all pay our bit, with a tip from each of us (tight-arses excepted).  That wasn’t acceptable, and a “manager” was called to  handle the situation (which was obviusly non-negotiable  if they wanted to be paid). She reluctantly agreed to accept our money, but dug her heels in in that she was prepared to swipe only one debit card – a problem, as two of our party had no cash on them. The suggestion that one of us trot next door and get some cash from the ATM did not sit well, and harsh words were exchanged. In short, I felt that our value as customers was rated at zero, and I will never return. When will dumps like this learn that the customer is always right? I’ll tell you… NEVER…. Which is why they’ll go broke.
